My
windows in QuikCalc are cut off and I constantly need to use
the scrollbars. What is wrong? |
 |
QuikCalc
requires a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 for V6 and later,
and 800x600 for previous versions. All windows have been optimized
to fit in this size or greater. To change your screen resolution,
refer to your Windows Help. In V7 and later there is an Adjust
for Small Screen option under your Edit menu that will help
you work in lower resolutions, or if using Large fonts (120
DPI) on smaller resolutions. |

How
do I specify dates for my schedules? |
 |
Upgrade
to V5.0 or higher for dates on all editions, or if using V4.0
then you must use the Amortization Schedules Plus! feature
in the Lite, Personal or Office Editions, or the Loan Manager
in the Personal or Office Editions. |
| |
|
 |
How
do I determine the amortization period if I only have the payment
amount, loan amount and interest rate? |
 |
Use
the Solve for Missing Number calculator. If you have V4.0 and
this is not included in your Amortization Tools menu, download
the latest update for this free new feature. |

I've
entered an amount in the payment field but it won't let me tab
out, what's wrong? |
 |
This
can happen if you entered the $ sign in the field. Do not enter
any currency characters. |
| |
|
 |
The
Loan Manager is not calculating the initial interest payment
between the Interest Start Date and the Payment Start Date.
What is wrong? |
 |
Go
to the Interest Rates window and make sure that your interest
rate is not set to 0. |

Why
are the principal/interest amounts on the Loan Manager not what
I'm expecting? |
 |
Make
sure that you are using the correct Day Count Convention. Schedules
are typically created using 30/360 or Actual/Actual. Make certain
that you have the right one selected when comparing schedules. |
