SLATEBOARD SOFTWARE RELEASES VERSION 4 OF QUIKCALC

Software maker releases major upgrade to flagship product

OTTAWA, Canada, May 10, 2004 - Slateboard Software Inc., a developer of consumer and business software applications, announced today the release of Version 4 of its flagship QuikCalc Mortgage and Loan Management software. "We are very proud of this release," explained CEO Robert Kennedy. "We have had lots of feedback from our thousands of users and have tried to incorporate as many of their requests into this release as we could."

Version 4 includes dozens of significant enhancements including new payment types, calculation methods, amortization grids, comparison capabilities, and undo/redo capabilities. As well, it includes many more reports and enhanced reporting capabilities.

Version 4 is scalable to the individual customers needs. The Amortization Edition retails for $29.95US, the Lite Edition is $59.95US and the Personal Edition is $119.95US. A new Office Edition, which includes multi-user capabilities as well as a client management front end, will be available shortly. The Office Edition will be priced at $199.95 per user.
