Introducing QuikCalc Amortization Courtesy Edition V6.0!

QuikCalc Amortization Courtesy Edition is a new type of promotional product that will separate you from the competition. Everyone is trying to find that promotional item that is useful for their clients: pens, mugs, golf shirts, calendars, etc. What usually happens to these things? Ask yourself what you've done with most of the promotional items given to you? What if you could buy a promotional item and then only give it to the people who are truly interested? Buy 100 calendars and be sure that the 100 people who receive it don't throw it out with the recycling? QuikCalc Courtesy Edition is just that.

QuikCalc Courtesy Edition works differently from other promotional items. Here's how it works:

1. You send us two graphic files. One is usually your corporate logo, the other can be a head shot or some other graphic of your choice. You also fill out a form of easy to answer questions (contact information, company slogan, web site links).

2. We create a custom version of QuikCalc Courtesy Edition that has a splash screen with your images and contact info and then across the bottom of the screen, the entire time your client is using the software, is your information. (Click here for a screen snap: https://www.slateboard.com/pro_quikcalc_ce_ss_asp.htm).  As well, there is a menu link with all of your custom web links available to them such as your home page, contact page, real estate listings, etc. This program includes the Version 6.0 features of the Solve for Missing Number Calculator, Amortization Schedules Plus! and the Bonus Calculators. This is a truly useful tool!

3. You choose whether you want your clients to have 90 days, 180 days or permanent access to the program. You then choose how many copies you want to initially purchase. You can even buy in bulk for your office, having separate custom copies for each agent that draw down from a central pool of licenses.

4. We give you a web address and a unique code that you can then put on your business cards, web site, e-mail signature, letterhead, fliers, promotional material, etc.

5. As people download the program, your pre-paid licenses are used. People who throw away your business card or flier are obviously not interested and there is no cost to you because they never bothered to enter the code. Those who are interested login to our web site, enter your code, and then download the program.

6. We ask them for their name and e-mail address. They can optionally select to provide you with their contact information. This is a great way for you to build your mailing list!

7. As your licenses are used, we will notify you when you are about to run out and you simply purchase more to top up your account.

Tip Of The Month

If you have a certain type of loan that you are constantly needing to recreate for new clients, just create a template!  Create the loan in the Loan Manager and save it with a name identifying that it is a template.  Every time you need to create a new loan for a client, pick the template you want to use and if in the Office Edition, click Assign to Client, select the client from the list by double-clicking on their name, and then answer No to erasing the original loan.  Now from the Client Manager, open your client, click Loan Manager and you will see a copy of the template.  Edit it as needed.  If using the Premium or Plus! Editions, click Copy Loan to create a copy of the loan that you can then edit.

Fun Fact

Where Did the Seven Days of the Week Come From?

The seven day week was developed in Babylon circa 2300 BCE, and consisted of days to honor the five visible planets and the sun and moon. Their week consisted of: Shamash (Sun's day), Sin (Moon's day), Nebo (Mercury), Istar (Venus), Nergal (Mars), Marduk (Jupiter) and Ninurta (Saturn).

The names we use come borrowed from the Norse deities associated with the same planets:

    Sun's Day, Moon's Day, Tiu's Day, Wodin's Day, Thor's Day, Freya's Day and Saturn's Day.

Last Month's Puzzler Contest Answer

Last Month's Question:

A baseball team had just won the championship game and the players wanted to congratulate each other. They began shaking hands, but each player only shook hands with every other player just once. There are, of course, only 9 players on a baseball team. How many times did the players shake hands?

Answer:

The first player only shakes hands with 8 other players, the second player only shakes hands with 7 other players ( he already shook hands with the first player!), the third player only shakes hands with 6 players ( he already shook hands with the first player and second player ), and so on, until the last player who only has one possibility left. Therefore: 8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=36

Winner:

This month again proved to be challenging. This month's winner of the free copy of DebtCalc Home Edition is: Neil Cooper of Pennsylvania.
