FirstResponse is designed to be quick to learn and easy to use. After all, it is designed to save you time! FirstResponse uses a folder system to organize your responses that is much like the system Outlook or Explorer uses. The editor is simple to use and has many of the same features you have come to expect in your email editor. And once you have your replies in the system, you can search for them instantly based upon the contents of the reply!

Organize Your Responses
The folder view on the left of the screen allows you to organize your responses into Libraries and Groups. You can have any number of Libraries, Groups and Responses so you can keep everything organized in a logical manner.

Quickly Create Your Responses
The FirstResponse editor uses what is called Rich Text. This is an industry standard that allows most basic formatting such as:

Different Fonts and Font Sizes


Bold, Italic and Underline fonts


Bullets and numbering


Left, Center, Right and Justify text.

You type your response much like you would in any other email program and then save it for future use.

Insert Hyperlinks and Emails
One of the great things about having a website is you can offer a tremendous amount of information to your customers. But if they don't bother to look and just send an email, it almost defeats the purpose of the website. Not any more. Since you will no longer need to remember the URLs or type them over and over, you can include them in your saved responses thus pointing the customer to the specific page on your website. Email Your Responses
When you receive an email, simply hit reply, pop over to FirstResponse, highlight the reply you want to send, click Copy to Clipboard and then go back to your email program and paste it in. You can then do any modifications you may need at this point. No more typing the same thing over and over!.

Print Your Responses
Have a standard envelope insert or some other document you would like to print but not have to search for? Create it in FirstResponse and print it with the click of a button.

Search for a Response
Have a large list of responses? No problem, just click the Search tab and start typing the word you want to search for in your response. The list will be filtered with each keystroke then you can quickly grab the one you want!

How long will it take to download?
Download times will differ depending on Internet connection speed and other factors. Typically downloads via "high-speed" connections take 1-3 minutes. Downloads via dial-up are usually much slower and can take 20-40 minutes depending upon the connection speed.

Can I download again if I need to reinstall my software?
Yes. Just visit our Downloads section, select Download My Order and after installing use your registration number for full access. If you have lost this number, please email support@slateboard.com with as much information as possible for us to identify your order and we will send you your code.
